New Years is a bigger deal to Scottish people in general I think?
So it just makes my family feel a little more guilty every year when we don’t really do anything.
But we will probably do Burns supper on January 25th where my dad says this poem addressing the haggis where I don’t understand a word he is saying, in honor of Robert Burns the poet.
And then we eat sheeps innards.
Oh and also my dad found somewhere that sold haggis so we might be able to have it this weekend for Hogmanay.
I was planning on going to Edinburgh with my friend for it, flights were ok and everything.
Then I realized how ridiculously expensive hostels are on new years.

I’m just watching Sherlock now and it made me think of Jonathan Creek
I don’t know if many Americans know about it but it’s seriously such an amazing mystery series
with Alan Davies from QI.
There’s loads and loads of episodes because it ran for years.

We don’t have a remote control in college so Shit My Dad Says came on and me and my friend didn’t bother changing for a while.
We lasted about 5 minutes until we couldn’t take it any more and I got up and changed the channel.
